A fair number of postings on this board refer to real life cases of abduction, rape and murder of children. Although these contributions include sympathetic (nay sometimes sanctimonious) comments, something doesn't quite ring true.

This may be an unworthy thought but could it be that a fair number of people here actually get off on this sort of stuff? Is it possible that this keen interest indicates that the fantasy life of many here involves
the abduction and violation of a child?

I can assure you that I don't get off on children being murdered. These cases are reality, you can not read them if you like, but that won't stop them from happening.

My main reason for posting them is that right away the media starts calling these child murderers pedophiles. Pedophiles they aren't
