A hint of reason amidst the general madness?

Unfortunately, reason was overcome once again by hysteria, to wit:

Though there were no "features of force or threat" and the relationship was welcomed by and positive for both the woman and the boy, the judge "had" to send a message against exploiting children!!!

That's like a driver driving safe and sane and yet getting a ticket so as to send a message against reckless driving!!
