I wonder if 'curing' gays runs along the same principles. The only cognitive distortions I see is a culture so hysterical about protecting children that they will go about it by any means. If it means lying...so be it. If it means absolutely refusing to admit that 2+2=4...so what? We`re protecting children! Science of the mind seems to me like a bunch of chimps jumping around the monolith banging on a wheel with sticks. Or maybe covering the sick with leeches. I`d go to that group with Orwell`s 1984 in my lap. Let the real reconditioning begin. But we all know we`d end up like Randall Patrick McMurphy or at very least, back in the pokey.
