I haven't personally experienced this firsthand, so I can't really comment on it. If this is what you've experienced, then I won't tell you how to think or to feel. Personally, I haven't had any problems with Lindsay, although I haven't had much interaction with him at all. I have pledged $25 to the Alice Day charity drive, because I believe that it is a good cause. I would hope that people who don't like Lindsay as a person would be able to seperate the person from the cause.

He's been acknowledged as a leader by default, basically. This is because most of us are unwilling and/or unable to speak out publically and come out of the closet, but he is the exception. During his KCTV 5 interview with Steve Chamraz, Lindsay said that he isn't a leader of anyone when Chamraz said that he was the leader of the pedophile movement. When Chamraz countered that he was very vocal, Lindsay admitted as much.

Yes, I agree with you totally on that point. However, Lindsay doesn't claim to be a leader, although others consider him to be one. This is sort of like the Charles Barkley ''I'm not a role model'' thing. People looked up to Charles Barkley just because he was a famous pro athlete, but he didn't feel that he should be a role model just because he's an athlete. He felt that parents should be role models for their kids, and others in the community. Pedophiles look up to Lindsay because he's a famous self admitted pedophile, but I think that Lindsay feels that he's nobody special, and that we could and should be doing what he's doing. Easier said than done, but eventually we are going to have to come out like the gays did if we want to get our rights.

That's a good point. But one person can only do so much. My $25, and your $25, plus his $100, and her $100, and so forth and so on, adds up to a decent amount of money, which if used properly can make a whole lot of little girls(and boys) smile.

I'm a big fan of Lindsay and you. I admire that Lindsay is trying to start a real movement and has sacrificed his privacy and security to do so. I am proud that you are a GL who has been successful in MMA*, which I am a fan of. I think that GL's hating each other is misplaced anger, and hope that all of us find a common ground and can unite against our common enemy.
