The comments on her blog are being moderated, here's the comment I sent:

I don't mean to sound moralistic here, but you might need to read a little on the subject before commenting on it or judging an entire community;

I do not want to start on the name calling, insulting or close-minded talk,
but your comments on saying the blogs made by "pedophiles" should be flagged gives the exact same impression that your blog itself should be flagged for offensive and invalid content to the people who are concerned;
And quite frankly I felt like flagging your blog, but didn't find the flag anywhere...

You said that by posting about the subject you expected a debate, but by censoring anything that doesn't go along your own opinion and/or bashing anything other than your own knowledge of the subject it becomes far from being a debate but more close to being pure dictatorship and denial of seeing anything other than the negative side of things.

Yes I know what is usually being reported about pedophilia is generally horrors, which makes it look like there can be only that, and can't be any positive side to the sexual expression of children and adults together, there are reasons why the positive side is always hidden or denied, and I would say no they are not what you would think they are, like "well duh! It's simply because it can't exist and is pure perversion or morally unacceptable!"...

I can't blame you for thinking the latter since it's what is usually always being shown or talked about, and again there are reasons why it's like so.

dr. faustus, I understand your point of view but am afraid that "the damage to children that paedophilia causes" might partly be a very well made construction over time by some people who have a certain goal to achieve, which is to me more control over the population;
To think that the government is doing this for the good of its people could be quite naive when one starts to study/understand what is and how does the government work.

There also have been studies it seems that show quite different results than the ones usually being showed regarding those "damages", one of them is the "Rind et al" one which you can find at the ipce.org website if I'm not mistakened.

Daydreamer, you seem to be interested in politics and the injustices that are happening in this world.
I am also.
Please don't close your mind because something is relatively new to you and/or sounds anything other than what you are used to see or think.
Read Girl Chat for a while and you might see some quite interesting conversations there, and you'll also see we, for most of us, if not all of us there, are not necessarilly for sexual exploitation of children.
However does that mean that everything sexual with a child is always and automatically bad, wrong, exploitation and/or negative?
I'd say your answer would be a quick "yes" based on what I read on your blog.
I'd then probably would invite you to debate on this, but for real.

The difference between people in general and "us" is that we may have our own opinions yes, that usually differ a lot from most of them (and not for nothing), but we also know about the negative side of it, the horrors that are, have or still can happen, and we surely don't necessarilly agree with them, and want to do something to change that, and we believe in general that it's not by censoring nor denying pedophilia to be anything but positive that it will happen.

You seem to speak of the nazis on your blog, though I didn't read the post, many of us see something very similar to what's going on in society towards us and what the nazis can do or have done in the past.
Again, please read and make sure you know what the subject is all about before bashing an entire community of people.
I don't think it's as simple as saying "it's bad", or "it's a sickness" etc...
That's what the people with very little knowledge about the subject usually say about it, because:

- it's what they have heard of it and sounds plausible to them
- they don't want to spend time on the subject so they go with a quick and terminating statement, usually the one socially accepted (in this case, read "imposed" but I won't go into that right now...)

You could say I need help like you said to Lepidopterist;
That usually is quite insulting and pretentious, as it somehow doesn't leave any space to the other party for its own opinion/views on the subject, and implies that you would be holding the Truth on every aspects of the subject with no possible glitch...

As far as "help" goes, the famous "treatment", I went through one and can tell you that it was one of the worse experiences of my life, I don't think you know what it really is, what is happening at those "help" places, and the nazi comment I just wrote earlier would, to me, especially apply there coming from my experience.

But the people in general are being hiding those things, they don't know about what's going on in the underground, and they react with enormous surprise and shock whenever someone talks about what might be going on for real because they never heard anything like it before, the "powers that be" have done a very good job on oppression and hiding anything other than what they want to impose.

Proof: your posts about the subject.
It's quite typical, and it's surely not the first time we see something of the sort, and far from it, sorry...

Again please make sure you know both sides and what the subject is about before accusing or judging anyone I would say.

Otherwise, please choose your words carefully and don't use words like "debate", it's surely not what it's all about with the kind of comments I saw from you.

Haven't you ever heard the saying "walk into someone else's shoes before judging him/her"?
I'm sure you have.
And I'm sure that your heart is in the right place.

And Stitches77, please define "perversion"...
If you really want a serious and intelligent conversation about the subject, the words being chosen are I think very important, otherwise it's only an opinion and not necessarilly being the truth.
