Well, not much anyway.

Generally, I think most parents aren't interested in sex with their children or anyone else's children, because most parents aren't pedophiles. So for the vast majority of parents who aren't pedophiles, life wouldn't change in the least.

For the parents who *are* pedophiles, some would desire sexual relations with their own children while others wouldn't. For the portion not interested in sex with their own children, life wouldn't change in the least.

So we're left with the small number of parents who *are* pedophiles and *are* attracted to their own children. Well, lots of these people are already having sexual encounters with their children -- we hear about this in the news regularly.

So I don't think our society would change much. I believe that laws act primarily to punish behaviors, not to stop them.
