I haven't seen 'AG' around much, at first reading I thought it meant 'adult girl' or something, which is a meaningful phrase to say (girl nowadays is a more common way of saying female just like boy is a more common way of saying male, as they are more casual, do not have scientific sounds to them and are shorter to write and more independant).

I wonder if instead of saying adolescent people could say pubescent? As far as I know they're synonymous right? I'm not totally sure. It fits better since puberty is more physical-based and can be used comparatively with the words 'prepubesent' and 'postpubescent' (meaning prior to or after puberty) whereas I've never heard anyone say preadolescent or postadolescent. Well maybe I have but I forgot, but in any case it's probably much less common terminology.

Anyway if you do that, then you could say 'PG'. Although I guess that could cause confusion with parental guidance... but not as much because it isn't a noun like 'adult girl' is and refers to a ratings system rather than an individual.

Plus, I know some people say 'LG' for 'little girl' which I assume implies a prepubescent one. I'm not sure it's the best though since 'little' can also mean people who are midgets or dwarves. This starts with P too though so that's a problem...

So let's take more letters. Pubescent girls could be called 'PuG' and prepubescent girls could be called 'PrG's. That's not the most aesthetic since it uses a consonant rather than a vowel, but it's probably better than the alternative of calling them a 'PreG' because people are going to make all sorts of analogies with pregnancy.

Personally I don't see the problem though, it's actually sort of witty since prepubescent girls CAN'T get pregnant to be calling them a PreG.

Plus, I don't think anyone cares so long as the G is upper case. Remember, the most important part is the girl, not the fact she's prepubescent, so the G being uppercase actually kinda helps signify that. In fact, it should only ever be spelled 'preG' due to that!

Now that I think about it, puG should probably follow the same analogy. Definately never spell it 'pug' or else people may think it means 'pug ugly' or something, which is definately not the case. Well, maybe pedophiles think that but I don't, and since this board is frequented by people other than pedophiles I think pedos should respect that and use an uppercase G. Unless of course everyone unanimously agrees someone's ugly or something and you're chiding them or something but when does that really happen?

But since that uses the third letter too, you would have to use the third one for pubescent ones as well, but that'd be 'pubG' and then you have the 'ends with a consanant' problem again.

Due to this, I think it's better to just allow 'preG' to have an extra letter. You can't just keep adding letters ad nauseum until they both end in a vowel (they never do, lol)

Getting back to the abbreviations, for talking about post-pubescent girls I think you could then call them a 'poG'. I like this because I used to play pogs when I was younger and I had this wicked slammer. I had Goosebumps pogs, great series.

Okay so since I put so much imagination in that I'm going to remember to start using this in all my posts until it catches on and everyone conforms to me will.
