I didn't hear anyone say that Herod I was a Christian. Although the notion of it which you introduce is quite amusing.
And actually you're quite wrong about Judas. The atonement which is the centerpiece of Christianity can't be accomplished without Judas letting the Romans know where to find Jesus so they can ultimately crucify him. Furthermore, had Judas not betrayed Jesus, he would've made Jesus out to be a liar when Jesus said as much at the Last Supper. No Judas, no Christianity. Therefore its no surprise that many have proposed that Judas was acting directly on Jesus' orders. The other apostles merely assisted with Jesus' work as one of many Rabbes and healers of the day. Judas' acts made Jesus become the Christ. Maybe he was a better Christian than the others.
And while it might be innapropriate to talk about Christians before the Christ. One can certainly talk about his contemporaries with the same terminology as his latter followers. It could easily be argued that those who were acknowledged by Jesus as emulating his example in life were better Christians than those who never walked or broke bread with the Incarnation.
If I found out someone raped me as a baby I'd think they were an awful person and want to get revenge on them and stuff.
Hoo-Boy, your moral compass needs some retuning.
Revenge; the act of inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands.
I think its safe to say that anything which doesn't exist as of today will not exist tomorrow unless it happens in the future, not in the past. And if it isn't present in memory today, then its the introduction ( or induction ) of memories at a later date which causes any such difference in the quality of life. Given the demonstrably real ability to induce false memories, I'd not add anyone to your list of those you want to get "revenge on and stuff." ( I believe human taxidermy is illegal. Though I'd love to see your trophy collection ;p ) Its very difficult to retract vengeance when you discover the memories which aren't present today to have been an artifact of your imagination.
