Bioloical crtieria and stuff

Of course there is also that whole thing about 'hebephilia' and 'ephebophilia' of which I'm still thoroughly confused as to the meanings of both of them. Like, is one broad and the other specific, one gay and the other heterosexual/bisexual/all-inclusive? Or does one refer to the upper range and the other the whole range? Very hard to sort out, Wikipedia hasn't been much of a help in gaining understanding of either terms' implications.

Why do you even bother asking?

We know that as soon as someone provides you with either their preferred usage or shows you a range of accepted usages from reputable sources that you'll tell them to shut-up or cease using these terms in any traditional way. You already do this with the word "Pedophile." So there's no reason to believe that as useful and legitimate a term as "Ephebophile" won't have its meanings twisted and attacked the same way.

If you aren't going to allow Pedophiles on a Pedophile support board to use or cite the term "Pedophile" properly, then what do you care about those MAAs who like AGs?
