As I mentioned in my ⛓️‍💥[Removed], part of the reason that I decided to become an active member of this community was that there were some members whose posts helped me more than others. All of the posters here are great (except some of the antis), but these posters are the ones who had me oftentimes running to the computer to jump on GC as soon as I got home.

ShadowDweller: I canÂ’t put into words how much your presence on this board has affected me. ItÂ’s like you tied a little cord around my heart and pull my emotions any which way, going along with your current dilemmas. You had me flying as high as a kite as you periodically described falling in love with Emma, and you had me with tears in my eyes as it all came crashing down. It wasnÂ’t because your story was entertaining, but because I could absolutely identify with you and the decisions you made, even the decisions that turned out to be mistakes in the long run. I think you knew a lot of the things you did were probably not a good idea, but you did them because along with the risky course of action, there came an infinitesimal grain of hope that everything would turn out right. By right, I mean an out-of-this-world right. A happily-ever-after right. A kind of right that logic tells us we must not pursue, especially in a world that is set against us, but that romance tells us we cannot afford to pass up. For that reason I would have gone along with the decisions you made if they were presented to me. In fact, on many occasions, I found my self sitting at my computer willing you to make the bad decisions we both knew would probably lead to catastrophe. What I gained vicariously through your experience is invaluable, and I want to thank you for that. Even your posts unrelated to Emma are heartwarming and endearing. Thank you so much for your contribution to this community.

Dante: Your posts are always intelligent, amusing, and thought-provoking. I know I can always count on you for insightful responses to othersÂ’ posts that leave me smiling and running for the encyclopedia. You have been here for a long time, and you continue to provide high-quality posts very regularly. I know that a lot of the GC veterans get tired of the newbs rehashing old discussions again and again, yet you still provide excellent replies to things you have, no doubt, discussed ad nauseum to every cohort of new GCers that comes through. You are our communityÂ’s seasoned elder, and you guide us, the new recruits, toward a path of righteousness. I thank you for the wisdom you offer, and for your unyielding dedication to maintaining this community. You are irreplaceable.

Febri-Chan: I donÂ’t know exactly how to describe why it is that I appreciate your posts. For that reason, my description here will be more succinct than the first two. Please, do not allow the brevity of my statement mislead you as to the extent of my appreciation. Mostly, I notice a radiant positivity that comes along with your posts. Your GMs are unique and unmatched by most the members here. You often get my mind racing on topics of faith, a subject I donÂ’t contemplate nearly enough in my life, which is dominated mostly by science. I was disheartened to see you leave GC a while back, but glad that you were exploring the finer aspects of life. I am glad to see that you are posting more regularly now, and hope that you are finding the answers you seek.

I know there are a lot of great people in this community, but in my opinion, you guys are the greatest! Keep it up. ♥♥♥
