Cool GM today.

Had a cool GM today, at a restaurant of course, lol.

A pretty gal of about 11-13 came in with her parents. Caught my eye right away, brown hair and a great sunny face.
I noticed right away that her parents were both deaf. They looked at the menu were signing back in forth with her in what I assume was amslan. Then the gal came up to the counter and ordered for the three of them. She had a great smile and it was really apparent that her mom and dad were proud as punch of her. After they were done they had a question on driving directions and she handled that as well, interpreting between the staff and her folks. She had such self confidence and poise, it was a treat to watch!

Two honorable mentions go to the six year old dressed just like her mom in matching tops and khaki shorts, a real cutiepie, and the two-or-three year old who kept staring at me and smiling and giggling. All in all a nice lunch hour! :)
