He never really went into Chat that I know of (though few do these days :p), didn't leave his e-mail address on the board, never really did anything that insinuated his real identity, so how the Hell did he get outed?
We are aware that you are likely talking about a specific poster (who shall remain nameless), but we want to answer your question in a general way.
Your statement is simply not accurate. The vast majority of posters that have been outed on the "wikisposure" page have been outed because they did leave an email address on GC that led to real life information. They did reveal too much personal information on GC. They did give real life details to the wrong people off GC. They may have also done any or all of these things at a forum other than Girl Chat. It's important to keep this in mind.
Almost all of the posters that were outed by PJ, had posted an email address that led directly to real life blogs, personal websites (like myspace) or photographs of the person (which is how PJ found them and posted them). This is the primary way in which people have been exposed. Do not overestimate the ability of our enemies. They are not extremely intelligent or resourceful, they simply know how to use google and copy and paste email addresses.
This said, there are a small handful of posters who have been exposed that did not do any of the above things. It is likely these posters were exposed by someone who currently posts or has posted in the past. The GC Committee would like to make it clear that we do not currently suspect any particular individual of being an anti in disguise. However, if one were to speculate, an anti could very well be someone playing the role of an underage girl.
In the history of this forum, we have had dozens of underage girls post here. It is likely that most of them were legitimate girls, but all it would take is for one to be working with PJ. Some posters at GC are very eager to get into off board contact with a new, underage female poster. Unfortunately this can compromise their safety and security.
We would again like to make it clear that we are not accusing any female posters of exposing members of GC. We do not have any particular poster(s) in mind. We are simply pointing out that if someone is exposing GC posters through off board contact, then it is possible that person is portraying an underage female. The truth is that females on this forum are trusted faster and far more than anyone else (by many posters, but not all). Some posters have shared their real life identity with female posters within days of the girls arrival on Girl Chat. It only makes sense that Girl Lovers would be drawn to and trust a young girl, and this is what our enemies count on.
In the end, anyone on GC can be an anti in disguise. However, that is no reason for rampant paranoia, but simply a reason for caution. Do not reveal personal, real life information about yourself to other posters (especially if they are new). If you choose to do so, then you should be aware of the risks. That fellow GL may very well be working with PJ, even if they have been here for months (sometimes years).
