I think almost all parents should, at some point. The key thing is, what is the right point? It will be different for every situation. It depends on you, on the child, and on your society. I know for me, it is not the time yet. But, at some point, I will definitely be out to all my children. In fact, my plan is to be fully, 100%, publicly out at some point before I die. It is funny, but I just thought of something I wrote once ⚠️ ↗.

A while ago I looked at my profile on the CSO Wikisposure project. Of course, very few of the conclusions drawn on that page actually follow from the "evidence" they present, but one item in particular struck me as very funny. The synopsis section includes the line (a blatant non sequitur if there ever was one), "He actively 'dates' young children, making him a very dangerous man." Another section of my profile includes, "Perhaps the most frightening aspect of this is that he admits to actively seeking 'dates' with little girls." Having read those two comments, I suddenly realized what I would like to have engraved on my tombstone, some day, far in the future...

"He actively sought to date little girls"

I plan to pretty much be out of the toy box to all my friends and family by the time I die, so no one should be too surprised to see that :-)

Also, I would not recommend using the word pedophile, unless you provide plenty of explanation how your use of the word is very different from how most everyone else uses the word. I think pedo-erotic, pedosexual, and Girl Lover are all more accurate descriptions. My personal preference is Girl Lover.
