Re: Come out to your children, do or don't ?

When my son came to live with me I decided that he should know the entire truth. We never have had any secrets from each other and I felt if I was going to be myself that it was important that I did so. He knew that I "liked" younger girls form the comments I would make when we were out in public. So I came out to him completely when he was 17. He accepted it just fine. There were questions of course like, was I ever attracted to my own girls which I replied no, just their friends and have you ever done anything with a young a girl before .. I said .. just your mother .. hehe. I have never regretted telling him because as I said I can be completely be myself around him.

Now on the other hand. I will never come out to my daughters. I don't feel they would understand especially with the strained relationship we already have as a result of their psycho mother. So in lieu of your circumstances, I don't think I would risk it as someone commented it would surely get back to your ex.
