For what it's worth, I never suggested that we should "turn the other cheek" and never defend ourselves from the antis. I am all for fighting them tooth and nail, and I try to write a counter-statement to every single nasty thing they say about us. I believe we should be willing to argue against them with the same degree of vitriol that they show us, and I have been criticized by a few people in this community who believe that we should indeed respond to their nastiness with flowers. I just wanted to let you know that I would never suggest that we refuse to stand up for ourselves.

That said, I was simply saying that it's probably not wise to make murder metaphors regarding the antis, because some of them will seriously get the impression that we are suggesting that we should start murdering them, and that may one day have severe consequences for this board if some bigoted, anti judge ever took up their case.
