All that is well and good but I truly don't think those stuffed shirts think like we do. I do believe it had more to do with these countries trying to make LG's peak at an earlier age than is healthy. I have been a long time fan of Gymnastics and the girls that compete. I mean you can't tell me some of these 14 and 16 yo girls don't look even as young as 12. I'm not saying I agree with the rule either tho it probably makes for a more level playing field to cut the age of somewhere. Even we (USA) had a couple girls in the trials and US championships that were 16 but did look much younger. I liked them...

As you may know by now there has been new info regarding 3 of the Chinese gymnasts that may in fact not be old enough to compete...tell me something I didn't know right?!? Their passports say 16 but hopefully, since rules are rules, they will find the truth. Even though it will benefit the Americans if it is found they lied, I'd rather know one way or another. "Fair is fair"!
