### Absolutely not, Myrddraal. I am just hoping that you also think that antis should receive just as much punishment for abducting and killing an MAA as another criminal who would kill a 'child'. That's all I'm trying to establish. Sorry for the confusion I caused.
"you conclude, that i should hate people who murder child rapists.. because child rapists are ignorant??"
### LOL. I didn't MEAN child rapists, I meant minorphiles (MAA's). Probably it was my fault in the way I put it; so again, sorry for misleading you here.
"child murderes and rapists deserve death"
### Yeah ok, but if it was me saying it I'd drop the child prefix and say "murderers and rapists deserve death". I get sick and tired of those bleating sanctimonious CA's always going on about child this and child that. A crime is a crime is a crime. Evil is evil. Doing a terrible thing to an adult is no less an evil act than if it is done to a child--well that's the way I see it anyway.
"To me, in my head, there is something about them that just says "dont hurt them" and i would assume that everyone else has that same in-born sense that children need protection in ways adults do not."
### Ok. But also remember that this is mainly to do with protecting young children from THEMSELVES (eg: keeping a rug rat away from roads, water and power points etc). But when there is an external criminal factor involved this becomes largely irrelevant. For example, an adult is just as vulnerable as a child when a home invading criminal has his finger on the trigger ready to shoot from 10 feet away.
"They're different--and dont argue they're not, or else you wouldnt be here. So, they should be treated different."
### It's just a sexual orientation to me. I don't like to treat a child like a completely life form--otherwise I'd be no better than our adversaries.
"in a sense, i do--i DO see the murder of a child as a greater crime than the murder of an adult--the child has lost more lifetime,"
### I am assuming by this then that you consider abortion to be the worst of all murder crimes?
"They have lost more, by losing their life, than an adult has lost."
### Ok look, I see your sentiment but it is nonetheless subjective. Take for example a child who may have a genetic predisposition to a shorter lifespan than an adult genetically predisposed to a very long one. If a 6 year old child is genetically destined to die at 30, then he or she will will have effectively less life on the clock than an adult of 50 who is genetically predisposed to live to 100. Yes, like you, I am a minorphile too, but I consider ALL life with equal respect irregardless of one's age or hair colour or blood type. Of course, to each their own in their thinking, and you may feel philosophically different than I. But I consider a criminal just as much the same criminal for killing a 'child' than if he had instead killed an adult. As far as I'm concerned any murder should carry the same punition, no matter who the victim is. And not doing this sets a very dangerous judicial precedent. All life has got the same right to live.
"By taking another's life, be they child or adult, you life is no long yours, you have given it up ..."
### Ok good, now I feel we're getting somewhere. But I do have my reservations about the death penalty itself (as you also appear to agree on). It depends whether one believes in revenge killing and that two wrongs make a right. One of my main reservations against it is because of that potential for ERROR. Many innocent people get falsely accused of crimes they have not committed. You should know this if you live in the U.S.A. LOL. Furthermore, with the death penalty imposed, killers will not hesitate in killing as many people as they can to escape the crime scene.
