Thanks for your input. It was just a thought I had and I know it'll never be done but in those rare situations it would be a godsend. (Elizabeth Smart and Elizabeth Shoaf are prime examples)!

I have seen that commercial and one thing it shows is the girl arriving at the park to play soccer and her parents are tracking her via PC. I am sure this is a hand held device or something in her car as opposed to something she actually carried on her body. Anyway, I wasn't advocating the use of chipping kids. Just throwing it out there and I appreciate all the responses. I am never for taking away freedoms. I just can't imagine what people go thru when they lose a child!
