Re: Great post - and more of my many comments

I'm not trying to argue anything here. I just think rules are rules. Whatever...Really I think the US lost (as hard as it is for me to say because I love her to death) is because Alicia Sacramone didn't perform up to what she could have. But like most sports it's how you perform at that particular time. Doesn't matter what you did yesterday. And I don't think that we filed a protest, did we? This is just information that came to light and like anything else it has to be investigated. When Michael Phelps won by one one-hundreth of a second the 2nd place finisher (coach) immediatly filed a protest. That's just smart. Since it was so close why not have them take a closer look at it? Marta Karolyi didn't go and file a protest when we won silver just because some of the girls "looked" too young. (Although Bela was saying it all along)...

And I did watch the Visa Championships and the Olympic qualifyers. I know there was one girl that they said was 16 and she did look quite a bit younger. I'm sure there were others but ya know they mostly focus on the top girls anyway and they all look pretty close to their age. Some say SJ looks 14. Yeah, I guess we are age obsessed. But all I'm saying are just follow the rules. Period. And no that doesn't mean necessarily that the best girl in the whole world will win. It just means the best girl, within the rules of the game, that's there that day, wins gold. That's all.

Mostly I just like looking at cute girls in leotards no matter how old they are. And usually the one I wanna take home the most is Romanian or Russian...hehe!
