1. hmm...perhaps. Perhaps that is the cause of this nagging feeling of guilt?

2. Dunno. Perhaps. Going back to 1 though and avoiding that situation again, the only alternative would be to give it to her myself if the chance ever arose. However that would be putting her directly in an awkward situation (because none of this is awkward anyway...) and I don't want her being uncomfortable...

So I guess it stays wrapped up in the box until events somehow bring it out.

3. She will never feel neglected I don't think. I shower the girls with so much attention, I have never been too worried about that. Additionally she stated that she didn't want to give it to her in front of everyone else, so decided it best to hang on to it. I only told her to pass it along if the opportunity presents itself.

Then she asked me how I expected Emma to react, what if she doesn't want it and gives it back and hurts my feelings. I just laughed and told her she can't hurt my feelings and if she gives it back then I am just as happy. (girls are so cute).
