3. She will never feel neglected I don't think. I shower the girls with so much attention, I have never been too worried about that. Additionally she stated that she didn't want to give it to her in front of everyone else, so decided it best to hang on to it. I only told her to pass it along if the opportunity presents itself.

Then she asked me how I expected Emma to react, what if she doesn't want it and gives it back and hurts my feelings. I just laughed and told her she can't hurt my feelings and if she gives it back then I am just as happy. (girls are so cute).

If your daughter is thinking along these lines, you might explain to her that under the circumstances you know that nothing is going to happen between you and Emma, but that you want to make sure that Emma knows that you care about her all the same, because it is important for girls to know that others love them and care about them.
