Anyone read ebooks on their pc?
Posted by shadowdweller on 2008-August-25 21:13:12 EDT, MondayI have started a book based on a very vivid dream I once had, that has snowballed into a fairly large plot line. I have the entire book done in my head, just getting it down is hard.
My concern is that it is 'too much', and not sure if I want to finish it. It is dark. It is pro-peado. It is difficult subject matter. Basically about a man that get's busted for questionably illegal photos and through a series of extreme events manages to find inner peace. There are 4 main characters that are slowly brought together as the lines of right, wrong and morality are questioned and tested.
There is nothing sexual or illegal...well...I guess there is sex, but it's not a dirty story by any means.
Anyway. I have about 50 pages, 8 chapters so far and am at the deciding point where I either continue to finish it or put it aside for good.
So if anyone has time and is interested in looking it over so I can get feedback on the subject matter, writing style and overall appeal of it I would appreciate it.
Also, looking for someone I trust too, so no offense if I don't know you too well. Not that I am divulging any personal info, but who knows? If it is good enough (ie better than I think...) it might be worth pursuing publication? (although not likely with the main character being a paed)
