I don't like either analogy. They are both missing a key point, and that is the fact that we don't act because it is/could be/is assumed to be harmful to the girl. Both your analogies involve harm to yourself, not the object in question.

And I really can't come up with a good analogy that would help people understand. If she knows you, she would know who you are. A gentle, kind caring person incapable of hurting someone else. Just because she has learned this one aspect of you doesn't change that. And you are still no more likely to go out and act on your urges than she is to act on hers if a man of her liking refuses advances she would not force intimacy on him.

It's the old problem with the paedo myth. Paedo = child molester. About as true as have aids means your gay.
