I've told my Mom that if I say I won't hang around my little cousins anymore because of my attractions, then I feel like I'd somehow be admiting that something could happen, which it couldn't.
Of course, it's every peds choice on how comfortable they feel around kids for whatever reasons but I can relate to that quote above.
