I have read a *few* posts here. Some of the guys here post about just loving little girls and wanting them to be happy, some post about basically just wanting them. However, when those guys post, they are shut down by the...what shall it be for short... OK NSGL is non-sexual girl lovers and the others I'll call SGL. Sorry if there's already terms for these.
Shut down? Well, they're still there. The post in question didn't violate the Rules.
We GLers are a pretty diverse lot. And while there are an uber-small minority here who state that they desire nothing more than a cuddle and a peck on the cheek ( thank you Ray Davies ) even in their wildest fantasies; most of the rest of us have a sexual component to our attraction.
The GC Rules set up some of the boundaries for a post remaining on the board. It can be tricky discussing sexuality without it veering off into erotica, or to advocate changing the existing laws without advocating the violation of said laws; but that's what most of us manage to do.
There's no guarantee though that a particular opinion will be popular. However it need not be shouted down. Most of us are "SGLs" to some degree or another. As JD pointed out, the "non-contact" POV is pretty well absent from the board. I still think that there are many good non-contact arguments to be made. But this is from the POV of personal choice, not moral imperative. The "you ought to..." non-contact stance doesn't seem to have very many defenders left. ( And to be clear, we're talking about how a GLer ought to act in a hypothetical future with the current restrictions lifted.)
I'm sorry that you regret your early sexual experiences.
I lost my virginity under circumstances which I regret too. While it was consensual, I was also taken advantage of. The difference between us is that I was 19, and therefore the courts wouldn't consider me a victim and her a predator in disregard of the events and acts between us.
