Yes I am new I have only been posting for about 2 months, I believe that we have already introduced ourselves...I believe that we are both from Canada. I understand that you still have not posted an intro post I am sure many people would love to read one as your are very articulate.

I was not upset about anything you said Lucky, the subject of whether or not MAAs should have platonic teenage/prepubescent female friends in thier lives can be a touchy subject. For me and others like me it is something that I would rather avoid for the reasons that I described earlier, but I certainly would not discourage anyone from doing so provided that they could handle it and that they believed that it would be both beneficial to the girls in question and themselves. As I said before I believe that the proper approach to this subject is to encourage individual MAAs to use their own reason to make thier own decisions on this subject so when I read a post that strikes me as being along the lines of "GLers need girls in thier lives" I feel a strong need to express my opinion on the subject...that's all there was no intent to display anger.

I am also glad that you say that you love girls but don't need them, I had a former friend of mine who thought that a girlfriend was what he needed to lift him out of his depression...the result being that his depression got worse and worse.
