I was unable to post what I wanted to when I first read Dante's. Around here, even before any of the mass covert trolling, there were real girl lovers doing this obsessive ruminating thing, to the point of making our own situation seem even more hopeless than it really was/is. Some of them, I think, have a vested interest in making sure their own happiness is 100% unachievable in any way, because they prefer the purgatorial safety of doing absolutely nothing, taking no risk whatsoever in their personal lives. They feed off one another and re-validate all their mutual negativity over and over again. I think it contributes to why so many people need to take time away from here, because it's such a highly dysfunctional thing they do. Of course, that's excluding the trolls who try to do it as well, but I'm specifically talking about actual girl lovers who do it. I couldn't help but notice the similarities to the article. Maybe that's what Dante was getting at?
