That's a really good observation. I think both men and women who are not child lovers themselves simply take the typical horny, sexually dominating male image and exchange the target of a woman for a little girl, and that's how they believe us to be. Maybe a few are, but most of the ones I've met are nothing like that stereotype at all. They are far more mild, in ways that often compliment what a child in their AOA is able to handle. It makes sense, actually.

And I agree.. with the way many adults view one another, sexually speaking, it is little wonder why they are horrified when they imagine their own sexual behavior turned toward a child. They project it onto us, and it horrifies me to imagine it as well!

And this actually ties in to something else I've posted about before, and which a few others have said as well. Women who enjoy that macho air of sexualized domination and are not aware of our preference, tend to be very turned off by some of us when that "mild manner" comes through. At the same time, I think some of us who are like this tend to attract women who long to have more control or domination over their sex partners, whatever their reason. Nothing turns me off more of course, but I know I've attracted many of these women over the years. Bleck. I hate it. I think they misinterpret the pedo-ness as "virginal" or easy conquest. Some women like that.

This also goes a long way toward explaining what it is that so many girls sense about us, and why they are drawn to us. I think they sense we are different, sense we have a more mild nature and therefore are easier to approach than other adults. And I think it makes them feel better about themselves to know there is at least one adult who they have a little influence over. If we were really like the stereotype you mention, then it would stand to reason that all men would have little girls being drawn to them all the time, and that just doesn't happen.
