I just replied to your original post. I already felt this Penelope was quite a "wild child", but this takes the cake. Girls like this love to really push our buttons, and they like to cross boundaries. It's good to know that you're not thinking about her sexually, because things would get out of control very fast if you were.

It has become habit for the girls to watch the tv in my room and is not uncommon for them to do so with me while we fall asleep. Penelope's constant presence has 'adopted' her into that pattern. She has fallen asleep several times with my daughter in my bed.

I have many young girls in my life, and I treasure the moments we share together. I will say that I am rarely alone with them in my house. I am not Lucky enough to have children of my own. Personally, if it were me, I would never allow a young girl to sleep in my bed with me if she were not my own daughter. I know that it is not appropriate to have a young girl sleep in my bed and if her parents ever found out, then there would likely be problems. Most parents can't help but assume the worst in that kind of situation and would believe something happened. They'd probably make sure I never saw the girl again.

I know you said this girls parents do not seem to care about her and her life, and I think you're doing the right thing by helping to look after her. I just think it's a bad idea to let this girl share your bed. Even if you do nothing but sleep, if anyone else found out you could get into some serious trouble. I'd not let her sleep in my bed again, but that's just me. Still, if only all of us could have such problems.
