Google, who really cares about your privacy (har har - your lawsuits, would be more accurate...), does provide opt-out schemes so that you can take your pic out of Street View.
Making a fuss of it when there damn well is an internal tool to take your pic out is at the edge of insane.
Really, some people shouldn't even be allowed to know internet even exists!!
