The sad truth is, Neutrino, that even while actual possession of said item may not be illegal, it will warrant LEO's enough grounds to obtain a search warrant to find something that will be illegal.

And in some places the law is set up in a way that they can make something seemingly innocent into illegal material. Once we show up on their radar, they will use what they can to create a case against us.
