Belated welcome from me. =)

It's tricky. For one thing, we're forced to speak on behalf of more than just pedophiles, because the issue of pedophilia includes children as well. And while children generally dare not speak up for pedophiles, on the rare occasion they do, nobody listens to them, and they are quickly silenced. Back that up with the ever growing rate of sex abuse victims of both consensual and non-consensual encounters alike, how they came to become traumatized on a very deep emotional level to a point where they simply cannot recover, they also become a very strong voice to the public and are upheld as trustworthy educators in this field. As a result, the majority is given a solid enough reason to feel justified in treating us the way they do.

Quite ironic how simply adopting our philosophy could have spared them this misery. But what if it's not too late? What if our philosophy could actually heal people? Better yet, what if we had non-pedophiles speaking up for us that can testify to the fact that experiences don't traumatize, conclusions do? You can bet your life that on the topic of children and sex, more people will listen to them than us. Catherine N.X. was a solid example. Hope she returns.
