I think people get mad when they talk to Jack simply because he defies their expectations. A 'pedophile' without any sex-crime convictions? Not possible! Surely he's a 'despicable human being' who's 'a hair's breadth away' from molesting innocent children!

I'm not a big fan of Jack's media appearances, though; the hosts of these shows take advantage of and feed the hysteria, for ratings.
