And this is the reason why thinking on Left/Right terms is extremely shortsighted and in complex issues like this, simply impossible (or at least dishonest)...

As for collectivists, this is a belief that humanity should work for the betterment of the entire human race and collectively share in humanity's product rather than focus upon selfish self-acquisition.

That is where YOUR collectivism, dear, begins and ends; it's by no means where it necessarily begins and ends.

Goethe is not inaccurate in naming antis collectivists inasmuch as they treat minors as social / public property whose sexuality is to be owned by society through the instruments of the state. That, if you tried to reduce to a unidimensional Left / Right debate, would qualify as collectivist and thus Left, whether or not you like that.
