Perhaps things are not so bad?
Posted by shadowdweller on 2008-September-26 14:27:24 EDT, FridayI usually try to avoid such topics as I tend to get heated, so I kept quiet at first.
However when people starting talking about disagreeing with AoC laws and that kids know damn well what they are doing by the time they are 14 I got involved.
It was a very positive talk, leading me to believe that there are a good number of people that do not believe in Aoc laws and that most 'abuse' is made up and/or exaggerated to fuel the LEA business.
However, when talking of individual examples they state it is the law and it still needs to be obeyed.
Even though they disagree with it, they are quite happy not doing anything about it.
I think the root of the problem is that western civilization is lazy. Instead of taking action when something does not make sense, they prefer to relax and wait for someone else to take care of it. Thus we have gotten to the point we are at today and getting worse, because the only people with any ambition to change things are the money grubbers and hate mongers.
