I recently darn near fell in love with an obese woman in her 50's. OK, maybe not romantic love, but she's just so damn cool. She has reminded me why the original feminist revolution was necessary (she went back to school and made a career for herself late in life because she wasn't able to when she was young), but is also open-minded yet practical and with good sense. She's also refreshingly old-fashioned in the right ways - that is, she didn't abandon the old-fashioned wisdom that happened to be right. All in all, a joy to be around.

So, looks are nice and all, but they are not everything - not nearly.

Also, she has a cute granddaughter. That doesn't hurt. ;-)
