The magic sentence

Forget everything else that was said in this article. The only sentence that really matters is this:

'“It is about child pornography,” prosecutor David Brooke told the court.'

I'm pretty sure he proceded to cover his ears and shout "lalala" after that



This gets more and more insane with every day that passes.

'“Though no actual child has been abused, it helps to feed the demand.”'

If only these people stopped for a SECOND to think about they say, they're realise how stupid it is. Unless you consider people to be altruistic to the extent that they're all willing to do stuff for free, this idea that watching CP increases demand violates simple economic principles because there's nothing in it for the CP maker! I even wonder why people make CP, give that they don't (usually, as far as I know) make any profit out of it (I'm talking about the usual downloadable CP, not commerically-produced CP, which basically doesn't exist anymore). The only think they win a risk to get your ass thrown in jail

This line of thought is no more mystifying than the common anti's, though...
