Start out small . . .

That is how I think of activism in regards to our orientation, (I miss being able to advocate online) While those who are out of the toy-box to the general public are indescribably brave: I consider it to be debatable as to how much good it actually does, as it's so easy for the media to nullify your efforts.
I am of the opinion that we stand the best hope of gaining acceptance through communication and debate with close friends and relatives. Best of all, this can be done in a variety of ways; both undercover and by pointing out to those who know and Love you the you do fit the conceptions or stereotypes should you come out to them.
