well, if the viewing of images (or cartoons) of sexual abuse has the capacity to extend backwards across time, directly implicating the viewer in the perpetration of that particular act (or one very similar in the case of cartoons, lol) then the concept of a statute of limitations is clearly meaningless. as are the concepts of causality and temporality.

so i would say, no. the statute of limitations and any other statutes that constrain judicial or public arousal are inapplicable to paedophiles.
