I had trouble following this, are you trying to insinuate that because psychologists and social workers are paid to deal with abuse victims that there are people out there faking abuse or labeling abuse whee there is not so that more people can be employed?

I could not see a sizable number of people wanting such a thing, I really do think people get into these fields to help people. Yes, people want money, but making something so extreme is a bit excessive.

I do not think this is an economic issue, but rather a power issue on occasion, where you need someone to go after, and begin to generalize people in positions in scenarios.

Another issue may be that you can get in trouble for giving leniance so that you need to go hard on anyone who looks remotely bad to keep your job and avoid criminal prosecution yourself.

But money? No, I don't really think so. That's simply too much of a leap. This seems like an attempt to villify these people and makes criticism of bad judgements look weasely. It goes too far, I really think you need to realize that the people working with kids here are for the most part going to be at least somewhat moral people.
