WOW, that was a shocker, I'm a little taken aback. However I am somehow also flattered that you think this was too good to be true, because the fact I know it was of course true means that I am very lucky, and you must have been very unlucky.

I have to say, accusing someone of being a liar is not the best way to make friends on a board where we should have no enemies. Every word I have said is true, I know that, and that's all I need to know to be happy.

I am sorry you have not had such fun. FWIW this particular dog gets out apparently 'every day' and always walks to the same place, so it was not some isolated incident where the girl went off on her own - it is obvious the Mum has gotten very used to it.

Also you have no idea where I live, but it is considered one of the safest neigbourhoods in this country.

Sorry you were apparently so jealous your brain couldn't let you believe it was true, and the same with my other recount. I am I guess of reasonable enough looks for these things to happen to me, if not you. But don't take it out on me for sharing an event which others appreciated. If you don't like what you hear, move along.
