what's our niche in a child-liberated society?

It's commonly said here that typically, a child will have a relationship with a pedophile then the relationship will end as they go thru adolescence and find same-age partners. But in a child-liberated society where children having romantic partners is encouraged or at least tolerated, why would they have a pedophile as a romantic partner, instead of a same-aged partner? Yes, some will find substantially older partners more physically attractive than same-aged partners, but I have a feeling that's a minority of children. I also have a feeling that many children that prefer adults as romantic partners do because they have difficulty finding same-aged romantic partners; which would be a lessened issue in a child-liberated society.

Or, another possibility: why would an 11 year old prefer a 40-year old pedophile over a 20-year old pedophile? Both pedophiles may prefer 11 year olds their whole life, potentially creating some competition. Pedophiles competing for a child, I wonder how that could turn out.
