I knew somebody from back in the day who practiced sumo wrestling, but it was for the International league. In the West, it's regarded as just another martial art where members do it more as a hobby rather than a lifestyle. Although the training may be watered down the opportunity to rise in status is always there regardless of failure. That person I knew trained with Japanese sumo wrestlers who couldn't be successful in their own country, yet when they competed in America and become champions, they relocated permanently.

Western society is characterized and has been most successful for it's flexibility rather than rigidity, which is why we are the best humorists in the world. We can laugh at anything because fallacy in whatever concept is part of human nature regardless of race.
