why would an 11 year old prefer a 40-year old pedophile over a 20-year old pedophile?

A 40yo is more likely to be emotionally and financially stable, for starters. That's attractive to females of any age.

And girls often mature emotionally faster than boys. I've known girls who have no patience for the 'immature boys' in their age group.
