For how long did you know you were attracted to young girls before you knew there are others like you that didn't fit a negative stereotype, and how did you feel about yourself during that time when you weren't aware of the community?

This is a rather unanswerable question for many of us. It is a question based on a false premise so no truthful answer can be forthcoming. There are very many of us who knew since we were children ourselves, whether we understood it as such or not, and didn't know that there was a negative stereotype until adolescence or even adulthood, or even that the society that we lived in wasn't the community. What I personally can answer is the last part if reworded slightly: how did I feel about myself during the time after I came to understand that negative stereotypes existed, were applied me personally, that there needed to be a community in the first place.. and before I found a community.

The answer is, I imagine, much like herbalists or perhaps Wiccans may have felt during the days of witch burnings. I knew that I wasn't alone, though I had a tendency to feel lonely (not that that has changed to a major degree), but I also knew that if the wrong people found out that I wasn't "of the faith" that I just might be tied to a very big stick atop a pile of sticks and join Jeanne d'Arc in the ranks of the extra crispy.

Now.. ask me how that's changed since finding such a community.

Locke
