Well, by "Pedophile" they actually mean "mug-shot of someone convicted of a crime." And then they're focussing on the house-bound-loner-who-did-something-stupid-over-the-internet demographic. If they selected for the 20-something-BF-of-a-minor-whose-parents-filed-charges demographic you'd end up with an image closer to Zac Efron or a young Brad Pitt.

Imagine the following scenario. "OMG, he's dreamy. Better keep the girls away from him."

I've known a few of the latter. The funny part is that they're rarely suspected of being a Ped because its the kids who stalk them :)
