"Honestly, I think the criminal law should be reserved for where it can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt that there was no consent."

I agree with the basic idea of what you're saying there but I think that the onus should be completely on the prosecution to PROVE 100% without ANY doubt that there was no consent, rather than the onus being on a defendant to prove that consent was given. Therefore any shady or grey areas in the case means the case simply gets biffed out of court. And this premiss should apply equally to anyone right across the board irregardless of one's sex or numerical age when laying rape charges on someone.

I am TOTALLY opposed to broad sweep and arbitrary AOC laws in ANY form or shape, they are a complete abomination and should be annihilated COMPLETELY. Civilizations never felt the need to have them for thousands upon thousands of years, and I think this very fact itself speaks TONS in demonstrating that they are simply a product of modern day fascism rather than something that is genuinely "needed". And I know some here don't like my position regarding parental prerogative, but as far as I'm concerned if a parent allows their child to have a consensual relationship with someone when they are, say 5, then that choice should NOT be violated and interfered with by the collective demotic mob.
