I used to watch my friend's band in pubs and alternative venues during the late 80's and early 90's. Their band was in styles of Rudimentary Peni, Dirt, Crass, Exploited etc (even though the latter two bands later harboured deep bitter hostility towards each other over differences in punk philosophy).

My friend's band recorded an album but it never managed to get released. Their most central theme was the the pro-paedophilia cause. About a THIRD of their songs was to do with this subject! I never saw them receive negative feedback from their crowds (and even got some cheers from a few out in the back of those dark lit pubs). And I guess this could have only been reasonably expected, given that anarchism is actually meant to be all about personal freedom of choice irregardless of one's actual numerical age.

One of their members actually had sexual relationships with BL paedophiles and hebephiles when he was younger. They tended to write songs songs from the perspective of his OWN childhood positive experience more often than from an MAA's POV. And they adapted their song content to a hetero angle, possibly to gain more popularity?, I'm not really sure... In other words their lyrics went something like:

"When I was a young child,
I fell in love with a paedophile,
she was so hot, she was so cool etc", rather than:

"I am a paedophile and I want to be allowed to fuck lgs" etc...So they played it "safe" I suppose you could say...
