What is 'Bucket, Photobucket?

And why bother placing the pictures on such a site if you have "irrationally paranoid high privacy settings"? Would not that mean that no one but you could see them? Why not just keep them on your hard drive?

I do not mean to be critical, but I am just curious why any of us would really need to aggregate and post pictures like that on a photo sharing site.
