The Clown As Evil In America

It's just never been the same since Stephen King, IT, and John Wayne Gacey. Personally, I think it's a sign of a society's own loss of innocence and a sign of its pending mortality when they start to view something like clowns as more evil and perverted than good and pure. Anyway, a clown is an anarchist of sorts.. a walking talking art form. And while there are of course some who wear the costume for deceit, the majority wear it to make people happy. And really, when was the last time you saw the typical American find simple joy as entertaining as the more cynical brand of humor?

Anyway, your story sounds like an urban legend. Clowns get called pedos, pedos are stereotyped as driving vans..
